    What did you like about the course?

    The magnitude of information that was in there! I also really liked the forms for organizing finances, plans, retirement etc. Overall a great and informative class, I would take it again, it seems like it would be a class that you could pick up something new each time you took it.

    I was kind of bummed that more people didn't participate in the discussions. I thought our instructor did all she could to try to get people involved, they just weren't biting. Already with the amount of info that is provided in the course, I believe it could have doubled if people put in their opinions, thoughts and experiences. We all have something to bring to the table.

    What did you like about the course?

    The course provides so much useful information - both written and links to websites. It will take a while to go through it all.

    Much of the information applies to my parents, but a lot is also useful for me to know for myself - to prepare for my own retirement and old age.

    The instructor worked very hard to get everyone to participate in class discussion.

    I'm not sure why it was so difficult to get students to participate and contribute to the discussion. The instructor did all that she could to encourage us.

    It was a small class, and I'm sure people are busy, or some may not be comfortable sharing anything personal with strangers. I felt reluctant at the end to post messages. This is only because when I did post replies, the other student never acknowledged it.

    I am visually impaired, and the program was amenable to Zoomtext, a program that enlarges and audibly reads the subject matter to me. I am not able to read normal text in a book, which includes large print.

    What suggestions do you have?

    I would like to be able to change answers during the test. In Question #21 on the test The word "intestate" should be written as a single word. You had it written as "in testate", which is confusing and could cause incorrect responses. I would like to see more instruction on how to do cognative activities as well as higher functioning versus lower functioning activities. Do you have a course that covers activities?

    great information - however, my parents both have cancer and are struggling to live on their own on a farm without asking anyone for help. I have found that my taking this course has made them very defensive and they are concerned I am going to take over their independence. They are both in their 60's and don't consider themselves "aging parents". I would have liked younger parents addressed more.

    What suggestions do you have?

    One thing about Web based courses is that it is all on your own - which has its advantages, but at the same time, I would have preferred there be a scheduled time each week that we would have done a group discussion when we were all on-line at the same time. This is what I expected it to have. Once it was all on my own, it got put on the back burner. Had there been a scheduled time I needed to be on-line each week, I would have been there.

    This course was very helpful in learning how to care for a senior parent. It was full of great resources, and also so many helpful ideas through the discussion board. It taught great information on wills and trusts.

    The reason I didn't give it better ratings, was that it was too basic for me. My only "improvement" would be to somehow identify the level of the course. I'm a psychologist & have some expereince with caregiving. The course was geared to people with little or no background/sophistication.

    What did you like about the course?

    very informative and thorough with the information provided. lots of wonderful resources and different perspectives on how to view things. worded in ways that are easy to comprehend.

    What suggestions do you have?

    i actually could have used more time for the amount of information there is. this to me could almost be a two part, although that may be because i am taking care of 3 kids at the same time as taking the course!!!

    It was easy reading. It was interesting and informative. It was too the point. variety of issues discussed. I liked the discussion board.
