Marsha Fortney has been a professional educator for over a decade. She has over five years of experience in online education, having been a professor, faculty mentor, and advisor for Kaplan University. She is a member of the Association for Advancement of Computers in Education (AACE). Her area of expertise is personal success strategies, including time management, career development, and academic skill building. Prior to working in the field of e-learning, Marsha worked as an academic counselor who specialized in providing support to students with learning disabilities and NCAA Division I athletes. Marsha earned a master’s degree in College Student Development from Bowling Green State University; her undergraduate degree is from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She resides in Nebraska with her husband and two children. |
