Gary is a nationally recognized trainer and expert in the entrepreneurial disciplines.
A trainer since 1968, Gary has played a significant training role in topics such as sales, sales management, small business management, franchising, business acquisitions, non-verbal communications, time planning and personal motivation, Neuro Linguistic Programming, e-commerce, and customer service.
Web based training and e-commerce are just the latest in a long list of
business successes spearheaded by Gary. In 1980, the Minnesota Sales and Marketing Executives named Gary "Entrepreneur of the Year" after he successfully launched a Midwest master franchise for Century 21 Real Estate Corporation.
In 1990, his success in building small businesses led Gary to George S.
May International, the nation's largest management consulting firm. He was
appointed Executive Analyst and spent four years supervising the management consulting assignments of over 130 businesses in
the U.S. and Canada.
In 1994, Gary launched Growth Strategies, a provider of lifelong learning/enrichment classes. Growth Strategies teaches over
200 traditional face-to-face adult enrichment classes each year. In 1998 Growth Strategies pioneered the use of the
internet to teach adults, with the development of a proprietary learning management system,
and in 1999 a forerunner in the use of interactive audio and video in online classes.
Every year students around the world participate in Growth Strategies
online classes, and routinely receive the highest praise from professional
educators.
"I suggested to both WebCT and Ed2Go that they require their instructors to take your course! I have now taken two of your courses, and watched over the shoulder of a friend taking one. Liked them all! I would like more courses!!!"
