Week One 
Tuesday, Lesson 1
Making Money ~ Let me count the ways to make money with an internet business. In this lesson, we will look at many product and service ideas to help determine which offer promise. We will look at multiple revenue streams and see how many revenue generating strategies we can identify.

 

Friday, Lesson 2
Myth vs. Reality
~ If you believe everything you see and hear about the Internet, you are going to be very misinformed. We are going to look at the pros and of the Internet and dispel some common myths. We'll also explore tools to get you to start thinking "out of the box".

 

Week Two
Tuesday, Lesson 3
Supply and Demand ~ In this lesson we'll look at the history of e-commerce and take a look at the three ecommerce paradigms. We will identify the successes and failures among the various Internet strategies. We will look at strategies that have potential as well as those that will most likely be a struggle.


Friday, Lesson 4
HTML De-mystified
~ In this lesson we'll eliminate the urban myth surrounding Web site development. You will learn how to build your Webpage to get started with your online business. By the end of this lesson, your first Web site will be up and live on the Internet.

 

Week Three
Tuesday, Lesson 5
Effective Web Design ~ This lesson addresses everything you ever wanted to know about Web design, but were afraid to ask. Now that your Web site is up and operational, you will learn how to do more with it. Topics covered in this lesson include adding content, navigation, graphics, typefaces and adding hyperlinks. In addition, you will learn how to add valuable components to your site that won't cost a dime.

Friday, Lesson 6
Selling Advertising, Affiliates and Hyperlinks ~ A web site can make a living for you without ever selling a product or service. Here is where we are going to examine how to do this. You will learn some common terms used in online advertising and we'll play with some numbers.

 

Week Four  
Tuesday, Lesson 7
Conducting Market Research ~ In this lesson, we are going to focus on making a good decision about which product or service is right for you. You will learn to conduct research online about markets and demographics, as well as offline due diligence.


Friday, Lesson 8
Winning The Search Engine Game ~ We can do everything right and still lose if we don't understand how search engines can make or break your site. In this lesson, you will discover how search engines work and strategies you can use to increase the ranking of your Web site on the search engines and maintain the listing.

 

Week Five  
Tuesday, Lesson 9
Show Me The Money ~ In this lesson, we'll examine all of the financial issues involved in running an Internet business. Topics include: shopping cart systems, how to choose a cart system, obtaining credit card merchant accounts and accepting checks online.


Friday, Lesson 10
The Back Room ~ This lesson we'll cover all of the nitty gritty stuff of managing an Internet business. Topics covered in this lesson include, storefronts, order handling, shipping, third-party distribution, product pricing strategy and electronic storefronts.

 

Week Six  
Tuesday, Lesson 11
Getting your business set up ~ Here we will look into all of the red tape of getting into business. This lesson covers things like organizational structure, taxes, business names, domain names and a whole host of stuff that is important to understand. In addition, the deductibility of your home office and business expenses are addressed.


Friday, Lesson 12
Promoting Your Site To The World ~ There are literally hundreds of free ways to get your web site noticed. In this final lesson we are going to explore some of them. Topics include email marketing, writing copy for email marketing, discussion boards, press releases and other promotional tools for your online business.
