| Barb has had
entrepreneurial instincts all of her life. She was the kind of kid who had a
lemonade stand on the corner. After completing her education in cosmetology
in 1977, she was soon recognized by her peers. In 1983 she was elected an officer of the St. Paul Chapter of the Association of
Master Barbers and Beauticians. Barb went on to spend over 24 years as a professional
hairstylist, becoming one of the industry's top professionals. In 1994, Barb recognized the contribution that computer-imaging technology would make to the hairstyling industry, and founded Styles on Video, a hairstyling computer imaging company. Since that time, Barb has become a nationally-recognized hair designer, public speaker, trainer and America’s first online hairstyle consultant. She has counseled more than 15,000 women in getting the most flattering hairstyle. Barb's famous adult education class "Finding the Right Hairstyle for You!" is offered in 60 different locations over 300 times per year, and is offered online with 300 colleges and educational partners.
