The Adult Enrichment Industry ~ In lesson one we are going to look at the history, state-of-the-art and the future of the industry. We'll examine who the players are and how the business works.


Friday, Lesson 2
Hot Topics
~ A class with wide appeal is vital. In this lesson we are going to look at some hot topics, why they are hot, and how to do market research on any topic.


Week Two
Tuesday, Lesson 3
Making Money ~ In this lesson we'll look at all of the financial issues, starting with the potential, pricing your class, tax deductions, and making sure you are paid fairly.


Friday, Lesson 4
The Game Plan
~ This lesson walks you through the process of setting goals and developing a specific, step-by-step plan of attack.

 

Week Three
Tuesday, Lesson 5
Marketing Your Class
~ Here we are going to identify the who, what, where, when and why of finding hosts to promote your class.

Friday, Lesson 6
Developing a Knowledge Base
~ Establishing class objectives, and conducting research on your topic. Creating a "Mind Map" to organize your knowledge base.

Week Four  
Tuesday, Lesson 7
The Course Content
~
In this lesson we'll be actually prepare the course content and focus on the key elements your new class needs to convey.


Friday, Lesson 8
Polishing the Presentation
~
Getting great student evaluations requires more than having topic knowledge. In this lesson we'll give your presentation some style and sparkle.

Week Five  
Tuesday, Lesson 9
Class Management
~ How to prepare, run and follow up on your classes. We'll examine all of the class execution issues in this lesson.


Friday, Lesson 10
Getting Your Business Set Up
~ Here we look into all of the details of getting into your own business: organizational structure, taxes, business names, licenses, registrations, filings and DBA's.


Week Six  
Tuesday, Lesson 11
Managing Your Business ~ Now come the business management issues customer relations, invoicing and receivables, record keeping, long term marketing.


Friday, Lesson  12

Building Web-Based Classes ~ The Internet gives your new class a powerful market, but conducting a class on the Internet is very different from its bricks and mortar counterpart. In this final lesson we will explore the wide, wide world of Internet training.
