To be fair, I find I don't do well without face to face interaction. I find it difficult to commit the time if an actual place is not scheduled. However there is a wealth of information provided in this course that was easy to download for future reference.

The huge resource of the rest of the Net and the links provided in lessons. These links are an "added-value" (to steal a marketing term) to the content of the lessons.
What suggestions do you have?
Perhaps indicate in the messages, rather than at one of the student links (internal ones) that to get the Completion Certificate (which I wasn't expecting when I signed up for the course, but is another addes-value), students need to utilize the discussion board. Need to entice students into the discussion arena somehow.
That's why I can't say this internet course outranks in-class courses. It's the discussion, often, that makes or breaks a class. (a personal opinion)

Please proofread your exam - a number of wording issues and spelling issues lead to confusing questions. For example - one of the questions was about who to include in your team. Once answer possibility said "Account" - not the "accountant" it should have said.
Also, I think it was question #19, about starting the class on time. The wording of the question stated "Start the class" at the appointed time, no matter how many students are missing. To that question, yes, it is true. Stick to a punctual schedule. However, that answer was marked as incorrect with the reasoning being that "The class starts with the arrival of the first student." True. Had the question read "Does the class start at the top of the hour...", then the answer would have truly been false. Very misleading and erroneous the way it was written.
One final suggestion. There are numerous typos in the last few lessons. I give you my copy-editor mother's advice - read it out loud. You'll find the errors that way.

This course is well-organized and takes the student methodically through the steps toward successful teaching as well as adult education business development. Giving students the capability of downloading all materials is a great plus for the course, as few of us have sufficient time to work through the reading materials on a timely basis all the time. The main important message I got from the course is that one must really think through and do diligent research on potential teaching topics so that one can offer something that will be of real value to the hosting institution and to the potential students.
What suggestions do you have?
I think that the assignments can be focused on narrower topics. They tend to be rather global and can be overwhelming unless there are chatroom or teleconferencing opportunities built into the course. Maybe the alumni of this course from the past 18 -24 months could be invited to a teleconference to discuss how they used what they learned from the course in their adult education career. Key questions can be sent to invitees so that they can see if the teleconference is of interest and be prepared to contribute to the discussion.
